Position: Network Technology Analyst.
Duration: 6 months (Extensions Possible).
- The role is focused on the break-fix support, operational, platform lifecycle management
- The Voice Operations operating environment is a 24/7 ‘always open’ model for managing Major Voice incidents
- The successful candidate must be capable of providing Business Hours onsite and 24/7 ‘on-demand’ remote fault escalation Operational Support
- The role requires high proficiency, and knowledge in systematic troubleshooting of cloud technologies mentioned below as well as strong skills in day-to-day operational management of a complex Voice network.
As a senior technical (Tier 2/3) role in the Operations-Delivery team, the person must be able to operate under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment with capability to focus under pressure. This role will have responsibility for leading fault investigations and mentoring support teams working on operational issues and in handover of new technologies and solutions from Design and Engineering to production
- Provide strong Tier 2 technical ‘deep dive’ troubleshooting and fault analysis
- Major Incident Root Cause Analysis.
- Recommendation and tracking-planning-execution of Permanent Corrective Actions within skillset. Escalate when required. Reporting to management on projects and issues
- Platform lifecycle management, OS & application patching; maintain relationships with tiered Vendor Support Teams.
- Work in a team environment to achieve operational targets Major and Non-Major faults.
Technology Analysts –
Good knowledge of Technology in
- Networking technologies- routing and switching, include cisco and Juniper.
- Wireless solutions – cisco/Aruba and meraki.
- Optimization – riverbed
Minimum 0-2 years’ experience – troubleshooting, first level triage and escalation management, working on ITIL management process for incident, change, requests and problems.
