5+ years experience on Splunk administration over different platforms & debugging any reported issue with existing applications / systems.
Administer and monitor Splunk environments across all environments. At least 2 years working with distributed systems in a production LINUX/UNIX environment.
2 years Splunk experience building dashboards and performing analytical searches within the Splunk application.
Experience using or supporting centralized logging infrastructure Splunk.
Plan, deploy and document architecture components, monitoring, alerting setup, troubleshooting guides.
Onboarding new data as well as new applications to Spunk. Reporting about system health with the help of Splunk automation.
Work with customers to ensure they are getting the most out of the data and help design new dashboards , applications proactively & based on requirements.
Mentoring other engineers within the organization on the capabilities and technical knowledge of the Splunk environment
Experience with virtual technology, such as VMWare ESX.
Experience with an OS environment running one or more databases including SQL or Oracle is desirable.
Working knowledge and experience with key ITIL processes is required.
